About Career Council and National Hispanic College Fairs

Our college fairs bring representatives from a broad range of colleges, universities, and vocational training institutes. High school juniors and seniors are provided unique opportunity to become aware of their options and to compare the offering of the participating institutions.

Over Thirty Years of College Fair Experience

Career Council Inc. was founded in 1991 with the goal of helping under-represented high school students in their college selection process. National Hispanic College Fairs Inc.® was founded in 1998 to assist the rapidly growing Hispanic/Latino population in obtaining access to a college education. Today, CC/NHCF serves 125,000 students and 1,800 colleges/universities in over 50 locations across the United States every year.

Our college fairs bring representatives from a broad range of colleges/universities and vocational training institutions to high school juniors and seniors, providing them a unique opportunity to become aware of their many options and to compare the offerings of participating institutions.

We strive to provide students with current available scholarship and grant information. We have partnered with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund to help us achieve our goals of helping minority students gain the widest access to the resources available to them.

National Hispanic College Fairs Inc.

We at Career Council/National Hispanic College Fairs, Inc. take great pride in providing the first step in the college decision process. This process begins when students and parents start to talk with college admissions counselors. We create a warm and nurturing environment where this dialogue can happen through our in-person college fairs or our virtual college fairs. Our fairs are big, but not so big that students can become intimidated or have to rush their discussions with the Admissions folks.

We operate our fairs all over the United States and for all types of student audiences. Our company started with the goal of providing a fun and safe environment for students to attend a college fair. In the late 1980s, we recognized the need to bring our events to national urban areas to help students who may not have easy access to college admissions information or visits.

Our events are truly multi-cultural with the hopes of meeting the needs of all students, regardless of where they live or what their goals are. We have partnered with a number of school districts and organizations around the country. Besides our traditional college fairs, we have run events for regional Catholic High Schools, State Athletic Conference/Leagues, and an international organization call AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination). We have assisted school districts with their professional development programs by providing a college fair component geared toward high school guidance counselors and other career development staff. Everything we do is designed to help students and parents navigate the College Application Process ultimately.
